Just a Thought...

If we’re serving God to get rather than be able to give.
If we’re serving God to be recognized by man rather than approved by God.
If increase, abundance, next level, money, prosperity and the destruction of our enemies are how we describe our relationship with God.
Chances are – we serve ourselves.
When led by the flesh we ask, “What can I get?”
To be led by the Spirit; “What do you want me to give?”
“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul (Matthew 16:24-26)?”
