Just a Thought...
The early Church didn’t need books on “Church Growth.”
The early Church didn’t have to take neighborhood surveys to determine what the people liked or didn’t like about worshiping God in order to offer something for everyone.
The early Church had no “specialized” ministries or ministers, nor was entertaining the goats ever an option.
The early Church had two basic elements to fulfill their calling.
1. The person of the Holy Spirit - both His indwelling as well as His infilling.
2. Men, who when they stepped behind the sacred desk, were not only prepared to preach and teach the unsearchable riches of God’s Word, but were also willing to lay down their reputation, vocational agenda and if need be, their lives for the propagation of the Truth of His Word.
